Portable Solutions

The Splinter Ramp Series can easily be made portable with the addition of castor wheels and hand holds on individual ramps. This is the most ideal scenario for a single location where ramps need to be rolled in and out of a storage unit at the same location. Due to the weight this may not be the best portable solution for a demo kit in constant transit.

If you need ramps for a more mobile portable use then we recommend fiberglass ramps, which are the lightest yet strongest ramps for this type of use. These are ideal for demo ramps which can be quickly moved and set up in multiple locations.

Fiberglass Ramp Prices

Our 17’ steel Fun Box Trailer doubles as the center piece for a portable Skate Park as well as for transportation and storage. Shown below set up for skating and travel.

The Double Fly Box Trailer will be framed out in 2” x 2” square tubing. All structural steel will be painted with Hammerite “rust cap”. All edges will have .5” Dia for safety. All riding surfaces will be sheeted with 10 gauge steel. All sheet steel will be welded to the framing. All sheet surfaces will be smooth and free of any bolts, screws or rivets. For additional noise reduction every seam between framing and sheeting will be caulked inside the shell of the ramp. Dimensions will be 8' wide x 30” tall x 17’' long with 22 degree banks on both sides. Total width is 8’ with 12” wide grind box running the full length of one side and a 4” grind wall running the full length of the opposite side. This ramp is trailer mounted and includes a tongue “swing arm” storage system. This ramp is raised and lowered mechanically by either hydraulic, electric, or hand operation. There is a 10 year warranty for the structural integrity of this Twin Fly Box. There is a lifetime limited warrantee on all sub-assemblies of electrical, hydraulic, or mechanically moving par.
